Catching Fire is the second installment in the Hunger Games Trilogy. Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) have just arrived home to District 12 after surviving The Hunger Games. All seems well at first but Katniss soon comes to realise that her ordeal isn't over. President Snow isn't too impressed with her rebellious streak and the humiliated leader soon comes up with an even more deadly challenge. Katniss and Peeta must return to the arena and face former Hunger Games winners in the deadly Quarter Quell. That'll teach 'em. Joining the cast for the sequel are Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Havensbee and Sam Claflin as the dashing Finnick Odair. Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Toby Jones, and Stanley Tucci all return. The director however, doesn't. Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) takes the helm this time around.
